Northwoods Bloody Mary

Just because I don't drink anymore doesn't mean you can't! This is a meal disguised as a drink. Vodka, tomato juice, spices, and a garnish that includes cheese, sausage, and possibly a whole pickle. Breakfast, brunch, or Sunday morning recovery. Served in the Twin Cities with a 6oz beer on the side called a Beer Back.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 4 oz Zing Zang Mix
  • 1/2 oz dill pickle juice
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot sauce
  • Black pepper and celery salt to taste
  • Garnish: cheese curd, beef stick, pickle spear, lemon wedge, beer chaser

Instructions

  1. Fill a pint glass with ice.
  2. Add vodka, tomato juice, pickle juice, Worcestershire, hot sauce, and seasonings.
  3. Stir well to combine.
  4. Garnish with skewer and serve with beer chaser.
